Authentic Korean restaurant opens its outlet in Dubai

The first ever Korean restaurant opened in Dubai.

Kimchikin Dubai, a Korean fast-casual fusion restaurant, announced that it would launch its flagship outlet in Dubai’s Al Ghurair Mall. Inspired by the Korean word Kimchi, the name Kimchikin stands for the national food of Korea,  spicy cabbage. The restaurant will have a traditional, vigorous menu comprising the signature golden chicken wings with dine-in and takeaway alternatives. The ingredients and spices will be from Korea to keep the original Korean taste. This flagship outlet is a  joint venture with a Dubai-based firm, Universal Investment Group.

Apart from the other outlets in the UAE, Kimchikin also plans to open restaurants in other parts of the GCC such as Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

The restaurant chain was founded by Korean architect Ryan SungHaak Chung.
