Daikin Reefer, a major global supplier of container refrigeration equipment, has announced yesterday the opening of a new spare parts centre in Dubai. By opening an exclusive spare parts outlet in Dubai, Daikin Reefer becomes the first manufacturer to establish an official parts store in the region. The new parts centre is managed by its long-term partner and leading reefer servicing operator, IRS International (IRSI), supporting Daikin’s commitment to safeguarding reliability and protecting cargo.
The new spare parts outlet, officially inaugurated on September 27, is located in Jebel Ali Free Zone. It is focused on offering specific refrigerated container services in the region. Daikin Reefer has to date been relying on the experience and expertise of 20 Daikin authorised repairers located across the 15 major ports of the Middle East.
As the Middle East container market continues to develop rapidly, so does the requirement for specialized repairers that can deliver an improved service. Daikin Reefer aspires that the establishment of this new spare parts centre will be welcomed by its loyal customers, mainly shipping lines and repairers who have formerly highlighted the need for a ‘Satellite Parts Centre,’ in a bid to drive down delivery costs and improve the overall supply chain.
Daikin Reefer is a part of Daikin Industries Ltd which was founded in 1924 and is headquartered in Japan. It is a premium producer of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems and fluorochemical products.
