Dubai, UAE: Growing demand for air surveillance and remote sensing will drive the commercial drones market in the years to come in law enforcement, aviation, agriculture, infrastructure, media, and scientific research, among many other sectors.
The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) will launch drone licensing in Dubai which will make it safer and easier to own and operate drones in the country.

The agreement between Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) free zone and the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) will be followed by a regulatory framework for the new platform, part of the emirate’s vehicle regulation. The framework will be developed in association with Dubai Department of Economic Development.
