Dubai’s largest entertainment complex as well as the first integrated resort destination, Dubai Parks and Resorts, will officially open on October 31, 2016. The complex comprises more than 100 exciting rides spread over four massive theme parks: Bollywood Parks Dubai, Legoland Dubai, Legoland Water Park, and Motiongate Dubai, respectively. Apart from the four theme parks, the resort involves Riverland Dubai, a walkway laden with shops and dining options and the Lapita Hotel, a Polynesian-influenced hotel. There are 18 games in Motiongate Dubai, including the Hotel Transylvania ride, the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs ride, and the Zombieland ride, among others. It is located on Sheik Zayed Road, opposite Palm Jebel Ali, Dubai.
The Dhs10.5 billion Dubai Parks and Resorts is being developed by Meraas, a Dubai-based holding company. Meraas has operations and assets throughout the UAE. It focuses on a variety of sectors, including real estate, tourism, healthcare, hospitality, retail, leisure & entertainment, and technology.
