Dubai Plans for a Roadshow in Eastern Africa

Dubai’s Tourism Bureau is all set for a roadshow in East Africa in association with Ugandan tour operators.

Dubai’s tourism bureau, along with 14 of its Dubai-based partners and Ugandan tour operators, commences a multi-destination trip starting from Kampala, Uganda. The purpose of the road trip is to educate local tour companies to promote Uganda as a leading tourist destination, says Issam Kazim, CEO of Dubai Tourism. Issam plans to interact directly with the tour operators in Uganda during the roadshow and establish a long-standing relationship with them. The roadshow will start from the Lake Victoria Serena Resort in Kampala, resuming to Nairobi, Kenia, and ends at Dar es Salaam Tanzania. The 14 Dubai-based co-participants include Emirates Airline, Kenya Airways, Address Hotels, and Crown Plaza among others.

Global Village, a well-known family, cultural, entertainment, and shopping and destination in the UAE, and also a popular attraction for African tourists, also joins the Dubai Tourism Bureau to showcase the breadth of Dubai’s destination offering.
