Dubai Wholesale City (DWSC), a prestigious project of the TECOM Group, has commenced receiving applications from firms and traders willing to book spaces at the wholesale development. The applications can be submitted through its website (www.dubaiwholesalecity.ae), by email (email@example.com), or in person at DWSC’s stand (TECOM Group, Dubai Holding) at Cityscape Global 2016. “This year Dubai Wholesale City will debut at Cityscape Global 2016, offering the company with an opportunity to engage with potential associates from a wide range of sectors and industries,” says Abdulla Belhoul, the chief executive of DWSC. Mr. Belhoul stated that Cityscape also gives DWSC an opportunity to highlight the wholesale city’s pivotal role in the global trading sector which is growing up to about $4.9 billion in the next five years. According to Mr. Belhoul, DWSC will also be a perfect place for retailers who plan to get into the wholesale business.
Dubai Wholesale City spreads 550 million sq ft area to cater the needs of all the wholesale sectors in the country. It is located beside the Al Maktoum International Airport and only 10 minutes away from Jebel Ali Port, enabling it to make links between four main continents easily. On completion, the AED 30 billion ($8.16 billion) project will be home to over 15000 wholesale traders. DWSC also has links to all the main highways in the region and the future Etihad Rail, making it an ideal location for wholesalers.
