ELABELZ Enters Iraqi E-commerce Market

The online portal carries more than 4,500 products from over 70 local and international brands.

ELABELZ Ventures, a Dubai-based online fashion retailer, has started operations in Iraq. The company has developed a customised solution for delivery and payment for the Iraqi e-commerce market.

ELABELZ provides merchandise for men, women, and children from local and international designers. It carries more than 4,500 products from over 70 brands, targeting mainly young consumers in the age group of 15 to 30 years. The company has begun full cash on delivery service and has shipped its first order in Iraq on September 6, 2016.

“The MENA region’s e-commerce sector has been doubling in size over the past two years and will continue to double for the next 3-4 years,” says ELABELZ’s founder and CEO, Nooruldeen Agha. ELABELZ is the first international e-commerce company to cater directly to the Iraqi market.

Being a market in transition, the Middle East foresees high prospects and phenomenal growth for e-commerce and the development of the online buying trend. E-government initiatives have been playing a vital role in building trust in e-commerce across the region over the last few years.

Established in May 2016 in Dubai, ELABELZ has expanded into Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and Qatar.
