One of the renowned hotel groups in the world, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), announced yesterday, September 21, the signing of Holiday Inn Dubai Science Park Hotel, scheduled to open in 2019. The new hotel will be operated under a management agreement with an affiliate of the Rolaco Group. It consists of 402 rooms and suites, comprising five meeting rooms and a conference hall with a seating capacity of 600 guests. Holiday Inn Dubai Science Park will also provide four food and beverage outlets, an outdoor swimming pool, and a fitness centre.
The newly built Holiday Inn Dubai Science Park hotel will be located next to the Arabian Ranches and Motor City in Dubai Science Park, fifteen minutes away from one of the biggest and busiest shopping malls in Dubai, Mall of the Emirates. Dubai Science Park is the region’s first free zone community offering facilities such as office and laboratory space, and residential units, with the aim of developing a dazzling ‘Life Sciences’ community.
The InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has a total of 78 hotels operating across five of the company’s brands in the Middle East and a further 24 in the development pipeline. Across the Middle East region, there are 25 Holiday Inn properties operate and an additional three properties will open in the next three to five years.
Rolaco Group owns a range of Intercontinental properties, including InterContinental Semiramis, InterContinental Dallas, InterContinentalGeneva, Crowne Plaza Zurich, and Crowne PlazaGeneva.
