The most recent name on the list of fine dine restaurants to be launched in Dubai is Kona Grill. Kona Grill will open six restaurants in the UAE over the next seven years. Kona Grill’s premier casual dining will be located at leading retail centers, shopping malls, urban entertainment districts and lifestyle centers in the UAE.
There has been a spate of new launches of premier restaurants launching in Dubai of late. Burger And Lobster, known for their famously big buns, launched in Dubai in February. Totora Cebicheria Peruana, launched in DIFC this March with a 185-seat, 6,000 square foot venue on two floors to serve traditional Peruvian cuisine in a Peruvian-inspired décor setting. There are reports of Cereal Killer Cafe opening in Dubai in May. English hospitality brand Dukes will launch an Indian fine dining restaurants on Palm Jumeira in Dubai.
Khyber at Dukes Dubai was announced by Abdulla Bin Sulayem, CEO of Seven Tides International and Sudheer Bahl of Khyber in Dubai in April. The partnership also marks Khyber’s first franchise outside of India.
Kono Grill will join other big names under Hakaya Collection such as Marina Muse Bar and Restaurant, Yansoon, Motor Mouth Food Truck, Pesto and The Bay Sports Bar.
