One of the prominent property developers of Dubai, Omniyat, is planning to open 505 five-star hotel rooms and 495 luxurious serviced apartments across three developments in Dubai by 2020. While speaking at Cityscape Global 2016, the managing director of Omniyat, Mark Phoenix, disclosed the company’s plans to enter into Dubai’s hospitality sector with ‘The Opus’ along with other developments in the region. “We are very excited to introduce some of the world’s premium hospitality brands to Dubai, including the distinguished Langham and the ME by Melia which will be housed in the dazzling Opus development, designed by the acclaimed late architect Zaha Hadid,” he adds.
According to the plan, Omniyat will open 167 hotel rooms and 153 serviced apartments At Langham Place, downtown Dubai, while Plot 18, Business Bay, 245 hotel rooms and suites will be opened alongside 246 posh serviced apartments. There will be 93 hotel rooms and 96 serviced apartments at The Opus, says the developer. Omniyat stated that since launching in the year 2005, it has Dhs16.2 billion worth of projects in advancement.
