Singapore-based luxury hotel operator GHM (General Hotel Management Ltd.) has signed an agreement with van de Bunt Partners to introduce Tin Hotels, a mid-market, lifestyle brand in Dubai and Oman. This move is a part of company’s plan to strengthen its presence in the GCC with 35 properties by the end of 2022, says Hans R. Jenni, co-founder and president of GHM. Tin Hotels caters the travel needs of the middle-class population as well as millennials.
“GHM is well-known in the luxury hospitality sector for its design, innovation, and elegance. This partnership for Tin Hotels proposes to employ expertise in a segment that has great potential to evolve beyond the average,” states Peter van de Bunt, managing director of Van de Bunt Partners.
GHM was founded in 1992 and currently operates the Chedi Club Tanah Gajah, Ubud, Bali, Indonesia; the Nam Hai Hoi An, located in Vietnam; the Chedi Andermatt, Switzerland; and the Chedi Muscat, Oman. The group also has 12 properties in the developing stage in the Middle East and Asia.
