Walnut Grove, a South Africa-based, family-run restaurant, is ready to launch it’s first outlet in Dubai next month. The store will be located within the new extension of the City Walk complex, Jumeirah, enabling you to enjoy your meal overlooking the lake. Walnut Grove is quite famous for its fresh and delicious rustic recipes such as Ham Hock Terrine, Homemade Doughnuts with Strawberry Compote, Foie gras mousse, roast chicken jelly, truffle foam and onion tart, and so on. It became immensely popular in South Africa, it’s homeland, for introducing a unique food item called ‘canonut’, a cross between a doughnut and a cannoli. One of the attractions of Walnut Grove is that it provides its customers with interactive experiences, making it a unique brand among the other urban food chains. Children will be offered dough and roll pins to make their own cookies.
The first restaurant of Walnut Grove was opened in 1975 in Sandton City, South Africa. The date of inauguration is not announced yet but sources says that it would be at the end of next month.
