Workers will soon be able to see their job offers in their own language even before taking flight to the UAE. The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratiztion said workers will see their rights and duties, terms of employment and entitlements at various centers that will soon open in several countries in the region.
Saqr Ghobash, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratization, said his ministry worked with The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to sign job offers through Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation service centers
Apart from reducing the time taken to issue work visas, the system will help prevent attempts by unscrupulous employers to replace the job offer after arrival of the worker to the UAE
According to Ahmed Saeed Al Dhahiri, assistant undersecretary for Consular Affairs at the Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ministry, the ministry shall open visa issuing centers in three phase. The first phase will open 4 centers in Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Kenya and Bangladesh. The second phase will open four centers in India and one each in Egypt, Tunisia, Lebanon, Senegal and Nigeria. The third phase shall open three other centers in India, three in Pakistan and two others in Egypt and Nigeria.
